The Nano Herbarium is one of Tafaria's signature educational attractions. It combines botany, conservation, leadership and storytelling by organising plants into the original Tafaria Taxonomy of Ten Plant Clans. Rather than memorising plant names, visitors discover the personalities, survival strategies and leadership lessons represented by each clan.

The Ten Plant Clans are Warriors, Aromatics, Edibles, Ornamentals, Potent, Healers, Grounded, Highfliers, Diehards and Socialites. Each clan groups plants with similar characteristics and uses those characteristics to inspire human values such as resilience, contribution, influence, empathy, stability, collaboration and perseverance.
