Tafaria Castle & Center for the Arts welcomes day visitors, overnight guests, schools, families, organisations and corporate groups. Every visit is designed to combine leisure with learning, allowing guests to experience the arts, nature, hospitality, inspiration and creativity in one destination.

Getting to Tafaria

Tafaria is located between Nyeri and Nyahururu in Kenya's Central Highlands. Visitors can drive using Google Maps, travel by public transport to the Tafaria junction and arrange a pickup where available. The journey passes through scenic countryside with views of Mount Kenya and the Aberdares.

Day Visits

Walk-in visitors are welcome. The current gate fee is KSh 1,000 per adult and KSh 500 per child. The full amount is redeemable against one leisure activity of the visitor's choice, making day visits an affordable way to experience Tafaria.

Tafaria is located in the cool Kenyan highlands. Visitors are encouraged to wear comfortable walking shoes and carry a warm clothing, especially during mornings and evenings. Swimwear should be brought by guests intending to use the indoor swimming pool.
